OBEDIENCE TRAINING

Reedy Spring Kennel offers obedience training to teach your dog to sit, stay, down, heel, and to not jump on people.  Obedience training requires that your dog be at RSK for at least two weeks.  After that time, you will be contacted with a report of your dogs progress and whether I believe that he is ready to go home or may need some more time to fine tune his obedience.

RETRIEVER TRAINING

Reedy Spring Kennel offers retriever training.  I use the proven forced break retrieve to teach your hunting companion that the retrieval of game is required, not requested.  This type of training is involved and the dog sets the pace throughout the process.  Normally, two months is the general time frame that it takes for a dog to complete the forced break retrieve training, but it could be more or less. Part of this training includes taking lines and casting to aid your dog in the recovery of game.  Upon finishing this training, your dog will be a confident and reliable retriever on land and in water.  Please call with any questions about this process or to set up a time for an evaluation of your dog.
